MADISON REPORTS FIELD RESULTS AT BRONCO
Vancouver , British Columbia - Madison Explorations Inc. (“Madison” or the “Company”) ( MDEX : OTC other) is pleased to report on past indicator results at its Bronco Exploration Target, near the town of Val Marie , Saskatchewan.
The Bronco target lies within a diamond potential region, as identified by the Saskatchewan Geological Survey.
Detailed heavy mineral analysis was conducted over the Bronco target in each square mile of the property. Areas suspected of fluvial action were not included in the survey; therefore most samples were taken on side banks or flat ridges.
About 69% of garnets tested are G9 pyropes of peridotitic origin, and single G11 garnet was also found. The garnets ranged in composition from 4 – 7% calcium oxide and from 1 – 5 % chromium oxide.
The chromium diopside indicators average about 22% calcium oxide and 1.5% chromium oxide mostly within the preferred composition field for this mineral. The chrome content ranges from 0 – 4.5%, again within the preferred composition range. The grain counts have been normalized to 30kg samples.
Interpretation of these favorable results will lead to additional exploration in the area.
Madison Explorations, Inc. is a progressive mineral exploration company focusing on the discovery of diamonds. The Company has a portfolio of three highly prospective diamond properties located in one of Canada 's newest diamond exploration regions in Southern Saskatchewan.
